In early December I was asked by my dear friend and fellow photographer to capture one of her favorite family traditions; cutting down their Christmas tree! I have never cut down a Christmas tree so I didn’t really know what to expect and it was SO fun!! We took some family photos and then got to business with picking out their perfect tree. When the perfect tree was found and loaded into their truck we got into our own vehicles to leave and I realized my phone had fallen out of my pocket while I was shooting…IN THE SNOW. Luckily her husband figured out how to set off a sound using his iphone…thank goodness for iphones and loyal friends!! I love this whole family so dearly and Annie is one of the main reasons I gave photography a try in the first place. Love you Wiegers!!
